Context Menu

The navigation bar context menu is activated by pressing the right mouse button when the cursor is in the navigation bar. When you place the cursor in the text display, a different context menu is displayed: the textbox context menu. The features discussed here refer to the navigation bar context menu.

At the top of the context menu are the menu items with navigation functions. They correspond to the navigation bar buttons. The menu items are selected by pressing the left mouse button. See the Buttons page for a description of the navigation functions.

The User menu items start an application specific action. Refer to the application documentation to see which function they have.

There may be application-specific menu items in your context menu. Refer to your application documentation for details on their function.

The Settings menu item contains a submenu. Click on the settings menu to show the submenu. These submenu items are selected in the customary way, by left-clicking on them. A description of the submenu items follows:

The Change Increment menu item allows you to define an absolute increment number which will be used for this session.

The Cycle Records menu item allows you to define if you want to cycle back to the first record when you reached the last one.

The Play Sounds menu item contains a submenu in which you define when sounds shall be played for navigation bar actions.

See the Customizing the Navigation Bar page for details on how to use the settings.

The Help menu item shows this user help documentation.

The About menu item opens a window showing the version and further details of the dtrt.NavBarWin navigation bar control. Close it again with a click on the OK button.

The context menu can only be activated and used with the mouse.

Note that the context menu itself, as well as some of the menu items discussed on this documentation page may not be available to you because your application does not enable or use them.
